This condo-style resort is part of the Mauna Lani Resort on the Big Island's Kohala Coast. It consists of 80 one- and two-bedroom units distributed among 12 three-story buildings designed to maximize views of the ocean and ancient Hawaiian fishponds, set amidst tropical gardens. On-site amenities include a 22-foot by 60-foot swimming pool, children's pool, spa tub, and barbecue grills. Guests will also enjoy access to many of the facilities of the Mauna Lani Resort (surcharges may apply). These include two 18-hole golf courses, a tennis club with 6 courts, and a Beach Club with a restaurant and crescent-shaped white sand beach just a short walk away. The resort's spa features indoor and outdoor treatment areas and a comprehensive menu of Hawaiian-inspired treatments. Each one- and two-bedroom condominium is individually owned and decorated, but all feature Hawaiian tropical decor, teak cabinetry, and balconies with ocean, lagoon, or garden views. Other features are full kitchens, washers and dryers, and separate living and dining areas. Also included is a DVD/VCR, CD player, cable TV, wet bar, ceiling fans, and air conditioning. 68-1399 Mauna Lani Drive, Kohala Coast - From Kona International Airport (KOA): Please call 800-627-7019 to receive the number to call before leaving the airport for directions. From the Kona Int'l airport: Turn left (North) onto Highway 19. Drive about 19.5 miles, turning left into the Mauna Lani Resort. At the traffic roundabout, take the second exit towards the Mauna Lani Bay Hotel and Bungalows. The Mauna Lani Terrace office is the second left. It is left of the security gate and the late check-in box is located next to the office door.
